Who should Arsenal sell this summer? We allowed you to have your say on the Gunners' future
outgoings...
Arsene Wenger has gone under expanded weight recently,
and despite the fact that that was facilitated somewhat by a 5-0 FA Cup
last-eight win over Lincoln, talk of a revamp is as yet overflowing.
On the Sunday Supplement, the Daily Mirror's John Cross
said Arsenal's squad needs a noteworthy redesign in the late spring, and that
might be without Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
"I think this squad will require significant
surgery. Sanchez is obviously going to go this late spring, in my view. They've
offered Ozil a cosmic measure of cash to stay, and he is yet to sign it, and in
my mind that focuses to him clearing out."
Charlie Nicholas said on Soccer Special on Tuesday night
that he would offload 10 of the present squad, demanding the club is broken.
"I'm taking a gander at the squad, and out of the
principle 25 that are included in the Premier League and Champions League, I
have 10 available to be purchased," he said.
"Mathieu Debuchy, Kieran Gibbs, Per Mertesacker,
Gabriel, Laurent Koscielny - I don't believe he's been best drawer, he's
getting on - Olivier Giroud, David Ospina, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Francis
Coquelin, Carl Jenkinson.
"I don't think they're about the level that Arsenal were at three
years prior, I truly don't. These folks ought to clear a path, give a portion
of the cash to Sanchez and get genuine, appropriate players."
